Tompolo Denies Buying Any Warship, Warns Against Tarnishing his Hard-earned Name

Tompolo-omogist
The rate at which rumours travel in this country is alarming.
Leader of the now rested Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise know as Tompolo has warned those who go about tarnishing his hard-earned name and reputation to desist.

Tompolo was reacting to media reports that he had acquired some gunboats from the Norwegian government with the assistance of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) ostensibly for the policing of the nation’s waterways.

Read what Tompolo said through his spokesman, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo:
“I am not surprised that this blackmail is coming at this crucial time that Nigeria is facing serious security challenges even as the most decisive moment for the nation, which is the 2015 election closes in.

“For one, the initial reaction was to just ignore this cheap blackmail and forge ahead with personal commitments but the propensity with which these lies are daily peddled requires that a bit of clarifications is given to the Nigerian public.
