PHOTOS: Lagos Traditional ruler brutally assaults wife over phone call

In glaring case of domestic violence, a Lagos traditional ruler, Baale Abeeb Lawal,of Ikolalumo in Meiran/Ajasa command area Lagos state, brutally assaulted his wife on New year day..

According to reports, he was angered over a phone conversation she was having and when he gave her a signal to end the call, she misinterpreted his gesture as a sign to lower her voice ..So , she lowered her voice and continued the call.

 

Thinking she disobeyed him , the infuriated baale pounced on her,hitting her repeatedly with a chair,and stabbing her with a broken bottle on her back...He only retreated when she fainted.She was rushed to the hospital by neighbors who watched the drama unfold ..

It is unknown if she has pressed charges
