Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu is thrilled over the decision to keep the general election date.

Nigeria’s Council of State in a meeting on Thursday decided to stick with February 14 as the date.

No decision was taken to change the date. The date remains Feb. 14, INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) reassured us that they are prepared to conduct the election,” Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha told journalists.
