Gunfire Erupt During As Okada Men And Police Face Off

Policemen and Soldiers in Abeokuta have clashed with protesting Okada men in the Ogun state capital.
The team of security officials were dispatched to Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta to halt the protest by the Okada riders.

Shots were then fired by the security officials as they aim to bring the protest under control.
This escalated the violence as people began running for their dear lives

The security officials also released tear gas to dispense the crowd.

According to journalists on ground, the area which accommodates a number of banks and businesses have been deserted.
